PURPOSE:To perform the drying of a raw material in high efficiency by introducing a granular (or powdery) wet raw material into a fluidized bed drier, forming a fluidized bed with hot air to disintegrate the raw material and disintegrating the residual block with a granulator and separating the crushed raw material from air flow with a cyclone separator. CONSTITUTION:A granular or powdery wet raw material is charged into the main body 2 of a fluidized bed drier 1 and a fluidized bed is formed in the drier with hot air flow generated by a hot air generator 19 and blasted upward through a screen 12. The above raw material is disintegrated and dried in the fluidized bed by the aid of rotating paddles 13. The dried and lightened raw material is introduced into a granulator 26 together with air flow and the residual block is completely disintegrated. The disintegrated raw material is introduced into a cyclone separator 29 together with air flow by a discharging apparatus 27 and is separated from the air flow. The wet raw material can be dried in high efficiency by this process. |
