<p>PURPOSE:To sort without confusion at the time of shifting, paper sheets which have been arranged once, by making shifting possible through the linkage of an arranging member to the shift action of a paper discharge tray and at the same time, stopping the rotation of the arranging member during the shift action. CONSTITUTION:Paper which is discharged onto a paper discharge tray 80 by means of the right rotation of a discharge roller 95 and the push-pressing of a ball 67 via a pair of rollers 60, 61, the upper side of a changeover claw 70 and a guide plate 91 from a pair of discharge rollers 18 of an image formation device, receives at its rear end the force of energization whose direction is opposite to that of discharge, by means of the rotation of a paddle (arranging member) 99 coaxial to the discharge roller 95, and this rear end is regulated and arranged by means of a back plate 75. This paddle 99 is always in contact with the upper surface of the paper on the paper discharge tray 80 and retains the quality of arrangement. Meanwhile, the paper discharge tray 80 is shifted horizontally by a shifting means 90 every time a predetermined number of paper sheets are housed, and paper sheets are sorted, and at this time, the paddle 99 stops its rotation in linkage, and is shifted together. Thus, an orderly sorting can be done without damaging the arrangement quality of paper sheets.</p> |
