METHOD OF UNDERWATER DIGGING OPERATIONS WITH USE OF SUCTION-TUBE DREDGE AND HYDRAULIC GIANT FOR UNDERWATER TRENCHING

FIELD: hydraulic machinery and equipment for bottom digging. SUBSTANCE: suction dredge is used for introducing pipelines into bottom of water basins, digging trenches in grounds of all types even fouled and stone-infested, except rocky. For realization of method, suction-tube dredge is provided with suction-type trencher installed on standard built-in frame of suction dredge and with hydraulic giant pipeline trencher. Hydraulic giant for underwater pipeline trencher can be installed on additional frame of suction dredge being in connection with pressure or suction line of dredge. Also usable are hydraulic and mechanical facilities for loosening of ground. Loosened ground is brought by blades or arms to zone of transportation in the form of hydraulic slurry which is evacuated through passages of one of hydraulic giants created between their guiding screens and washed-out ground surface. Ground is placed along one or both edges of trench. In this case, water is taken through ground suction device. Grounds containing no large-size inclusions are worked by ground suction device at return travel of suction dredge, and hydraulic slurry is evacuated through water-supply line of hydraulic giant arrangement.
