PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air-permeable adhesive tape useful for bandage, etc., capable of preventing reduction with time in air permeability, causing no deformation, improved in durability, by laminating a porous substrate, etc., to a specific pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. SOLUTION: Fine elastic hollow beads such as foams or foamable fine beads having 10-100μm average particle diameter are uniformly dispersed into an air permeating agent to give a first dispersion, which is uniformly dispersed into a solution of a natural rubber-based, a synthetic rubber-based, an acrylic rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive to which a cross-linking agent is arbitrarily added to give a second dispersion. The second dispassion is applied to a releasable sheet and dried. During the operation, when the foamable fine beads are used, the beads are converted into the fine elastic hollow beads to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing preferably 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. of the fine hollow beads [based on 100 pts.wt. (calculated as solid content) of the adhesive of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer]. Then a porous substrate or an air-permeable substrate is laminated to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to give the objective air-permeable adhesive tape.
