PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have an output characteristic of a Darlington circuit as a single transistor in a low current area and to have both characteristics of double transistors in a high current area by connecting a diode between the collector of a transistor of a preceding stage and the collector of a transistor of a subsequent stage. SOLUTION: A transistor TR1 of a prestage and a transistor TR2 of a poststage are undergone Darlington connection, and a diode D5 is connected so that the collector of the TR1 of the preceding stage may be connected to a cathode between both collectors. With such a structure, output current of two stage types can be acquired. That is, first, an output of a single transistor appears and then, from the midst an output of double transistors appears. Then, when a high current area is needed, the double output can be used and when a low current area is needed as output current, this circuit can be used as a single type, and furthermore, low VCE (sat) that is a characteristic of a single transistor can drive the low current area. |
