PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical array module which is improved in yield and operability by suppressing optical coupling between an LD and an optical fiber to an intermediate coupling rate and has trouble of a high-precison coupling part adjusted by a filter for light quantity attenuation. SOLUTION: The optical array module consists of an LD array part 20 where many LDs 21 are arrayed, an optical fiber array part 30 having many optical, fibers 31 arrayed corresponding to the LDs 21 of the LD array part 20, filter storage grooves 40 provided at the part of the respective optical fibers 31 of the optical fiber array part 30, and the filter 50 for light quantity attenuation which is properly stored in the filter storage grooves 30. Thus, the filter storage grooves 40 and filter 50 for light quantity attenuation are adopted to suppress the optical coupling between the LDs 21 and optical fibers 31 to an intermediate coupling rate, thereby improving the yield and operability. |
