PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cost-effectively form barriers by simple production stages by forming fine recessed patterns which are integrally formed on the front surface of a transparent substrate and packing coloring agents in these recessed parts, thereby forming pixel parts. SOLUTION: Glass or a transparent plastic plate consisting of a polycarbonate resin, acrylic resin, etc., is used for the transparent substrate 1. The recessed parts 2a to 2d... are directly patterned and formed on the front surface of such transparent substrate 1. At least one surface of the transparent substrate 1 is integrally provided with the barriers 3 between the pixel parts and the pixel parts. Ink into which the coloring agents of the desired colors are incorporated is applied to these recessed parts 2. The pixel parts of the color filters are formed by forming these parts as the colored parts 4 to 6. Then, the barriers 3 are formed between, for example, the recessed parts 2a and the recessed parts 2b and the color mixing of the coloring agents between the colored parts 4 and 5 adjacent to the barriers is prevented. The recessed parts 2 are formed by using a roll molding method. |
