PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum ignition time by carrying out sampling more than several ten times as the explosion frequencies of an engine and carrying out feedback of explosion frequencies so that the frequency of generation of knocking can be suppressed within several %. CONSTITUTION:An ignition advance calculating circuit 5 is connected with a standard angle detector 1, angulator clock detector 2, intake pressure detector 3, and a knocking detector 4, and ignition time is determined according to the engine state. Corrected advance calculating circuits 5-10 detect the rate of knocking in the fixed sampling of combustion cycle, and when knocking under the prescribed rate is detected, ignition time is advanced by a fixed angle after the completion of sampling in fixed times and when knocking more than the prescribed rate is detected, ignition time is delayed by a fixed angle in the middle of prescribed sampling frequencies. |
