<p>A storage supply device for appts. for unhairing paper, newsprint or cardboard sheets, comprises spiral springs resting on a cradle which is driven to rotate. Loads or packs of the paper etc. pass between the springs and are driven lengthwise towards the edge of a table near the unhairing appts., where they are transversely jogged against a jog-stop. The unhairing device comprises a revolving drum working with a handling device for the sheets, which are processed one at a time. The storage supply device for the unhairing appts. supplies the sheets at a constant pressure despite any variation in thickness, so that the sheets may be taken singly from the pile. The operator may feed the sheets without risk of harm during the working of the device.</p> |
