FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment using gas flow of aircraft jet engine. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has engine combustion products afterburner mounted at engine nozzle exit end and head adapted for concentration of gaseous flow upon exit from engine nozzle and provided with tip. Head may be of composite construction and tip may have exits of various configuration and direction. During fire-extinguishing, tip is turned in vertical and horizontal planes. EFFECT: improved quality of gas flow, provision for fire extinguishing throughout the whole volume of premises, including difficult-to-reach places or fire zones inaccessible for direct action. 4 cl, 3 dwgF
