<p>A dressing to cover the extremity of a limb, e.g. to protect a wound, keep it warm, etc comprises a backing sheet with contacting pad, pressure sensitive adhesive attachment straps and an elastic, retractive insert in one side. The backin sheet is of textile, synthetic cellulosic or nonwoven material. The limb is laid on the pad, the end of the limb remain below a fold line at which the dressing is turned down over the limb. The sheet area is pulled around the limb and secured with the straps.</p> |
