PURPOSE:To perform the illumination-type picture display in a simple way for the picture display unit of the television game device by giving the luminance modulation to the picture element information of the fixed pattern with the output of the random number generator. CONSTITUTION:When pattern memory 2 is energized by game device main body 1, the picture element information of the fixed pattern stored previously in memory 2 are read out sequentially and then written into picture memory 4 via logic gate circuit 3 to be displayed on monitor 5. On the other hand, random number generator 6 converts the random number value into the digital signals each bit of which corresponds to the picture element to supply it to circuit 3. The picture element information of the fixed pattern undergoes the luminance modulation by the digital signals with every picture element, thus performing the illumination-type display. |
