PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a vehicle-mount type radar speedometer using a Doppler signal, by effectively removing a peak-shaped noise and also by extracting a signal with an ordinary noise removed. CONSTITUTION:The signal processor circuit consists of initial-point holder 10, delay circuit 11, multiplier 12, adder 13, and function unit 15, and signal X inputted at every period of T seconds is outputted as signal Y. Namely, K is regarded as an integer to estimate the effective range of signal XK inputted at times K and T on the basis of the signal Y equivalent to the X signal discriminated to be effective immediately before times K and T. Next, when this is within the effective range, signal YK is outputted corresponding to signal X and signal XK. If signal XK is not within the effective range and ineffective, on the other hand, signal XK is not used and signal YK equivalent to several signal X discriminated to be effective within the fixed period is outputted, so that a signal with no noise can be obtained. |
