PURPOSE:To reduce the vagueness in color during one-bath developing and fixing treatments by arranging a special hydrophilic colloidal layer, which contains a pollution preventing agent, in the vicinity of an emulsion layer of silver halide containing a main dichroic developing agent thereby to produce a color photographic material. CONSTITUTION:1 to 10 mg/(100cm<2>) of pollution preventing agent such as 2.5- di-t-butyl hydroquinone or 2,6-di-t-butylphenol is added to such a layer, e.g., an intermediate layer, a surface layer or a protecting layer as is adjacent to an emulsion layer of silver halide which is prepared by applying about 0.5 to 10 mg of a main dichroic developing agent such as hydroquinone or catechol and further a hydrophilic colloid (e.g., gelatin or cellulose derivative). The hydrophilic colloid is further applied one to five times of the aforementioned emulsion layer and is used as the hydrophilic colloidal layer to produce a photosensitive material. |
