Strips of a material having non stretch, or minimal stretch, characteristics and provided with small holes over the complete surface are spaced apart parallel to each other. In the spaces are laid down further strips of a rubber or plastic elastic material, with their edges butting, giving alternate strips of each material. All edges are joined together to form one wide band. Each outer strip of non stretch material is folded back on itself and fixed, forming a pocket in which is inserted a rod. Over this rod is fitted a number of hooks which hold the material in place. |
