The hand grip is for a screwdriver, having two longitudinal portions each of basically square cross-section. That portion at the tool end is shorter, and both portions is a shoulder facing away from the tool. The shoulder is formed by an annular relieved portion (18) between the grip portions, and axial pressure can be exerted on it by the fingers. The portion (14) at the free end of the grip (12) has, roughly halfway along it, peripheral ridge (19). From this its surfaces (20) slope at the same angle (a) towards the ends.
