The refrigerator cabinet is particularly for foodstuffs, having an air moisturizer and preferably means for circulating the air. It has a water vapour generator (2) for moistening the air. There can be at the base of the rear wall (5) a pipe sloping slightly upwards with a number of outlets aimed towards the inside of the cabinet (1), there being a central inlet to the pipe. The individual outlets from the distribution pipe can be situated behind the refrigeration equipment, with a grating above them to generate a slight flow resistance.
