Electrical module esp. capacitor assembly - by intermeshing continuous chains of cups and electrical elements

Electrical modules, esp. tantalum capacitors, are assembled in protective cups which are fed to the assembley station as a continuous strand, joined by short connections which are severed only after all operations, including the encapsulation have been completed. The electrical elements are likewise fed as a continuous strand and are assembled into the cups by making the two strands intermesh. This provides a trouble free and low-cost assembly method. The precise dimensions and exact location of the connecting elements ensures a high and uniform qaulity.
