Prophylactic antidotes to organo-phosphorus poisoning - contain hyoscine butyl bromate, a propanol chlor:hydrate, di:methyl-carbamoxy-phenyl-tri:methyl ammonium bromate and ephedrine

Prophylactic compsns. against organophosphorus pesticide poisoning comprising 10-15mg of hyoscine N-butyl-bromide, 6-12 mg of benzhexol hydrochloride, 5-6mg of neostigmine bromide and 5- mg of ephedrine hydrochloride. Pref compsn. contained 10mg of hyoscine N-butylbromide 6mg of benzhexol hydrochloride, 5mg of neostigmine bromide and 6mg of ephedrine hydrochloride. The first two components are parasympatholytic agents, the third is a parasynpathomimetic agent inhibiting cholinesterase hydrolysis of acetylcholine and ephedrine is a sympathomimetic agent which corrects the stsopinelike effects of the first two components.
