A vacuum machine (1) is equipped with a machine frame (4), which is capable of travelling on rail vehicles (2) and has a vacuum generator and also a ballast store (17), and a cab (5) arranged on the end side of said machine frame, and has a height-adjustable suction nozzle (10) which is arranged so as to jut out over the machine end (9) having the cab (5) and is connected to the ballast store (17) by a suction pipe (16) situated above the cab (5). The suction nozzle (10) is constructed in such a way that it can be adjusted in each case by means of its own drives (32, 34, 40), capable of being acted upon independently of one another, according to an XYZ-coordinate system in a direction running in the longitudinal direction of the machine, and also in a direction running perpendicularly thereto and in the vertical direction. <IMAGE> |
