The device can be used equally for grilling,toasting, frying baking, cooking or warming up of any kind of food as it is provided with an adjustable installation indicating the time needed for the various preparations. Thi indication carries a multi-adjustable timing device combined with a foil carrier or similar with which it cooperates. It is provided with at least one axle which moves according to the desired timing and is movable in a lengthwise direction. The foil carrier is an endless band wound around at least two parallel axles.
