PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink receiver for fixing an ink quickly to produce a printed matter excellent in waterprootness which is suitably employed in ink jet printing system. SOLUTION: The ink receiver comprises a sheet-like basic material, and an ink receiving layer provided at least on one side thereof wherein the ink receiving layer contains at least a cationic acryl based resin and an acryl based resin having film forming properties. Recording is performed on the surface of the ink receiving layer of the ink receiver using an ink containing an anionic coloring agent. |
