The toy electric locomotive uses a system giving a constant bright illumination on the front. This changes together with the control for changes in the direction of movement. Chains of diodes are arranged in the motor current circuit in parallel with one or more light sources in parallel to each of the two diode chains. These light surces only receive current voltage when the corresponding diode chain is also subject to current voltage. When operated by alternating current the diode chains consist each of two rows of oppositely polarised diodes.
