<p>Polyphase transformer has coils which are embedded in casting resin and pref. comprise conductor tape and/or conductor foil. The high tension-voltage and low-tension coils of all phases, together with connections and terminals are cast into 1 single resin block whose surface is metallised. The frontal faces of the coils have axially protruding ribs adapted to receive the connections. Supports for mounting connecting pins are moulded onto these ribs. The resin block is suitably metallised by flame spraying. The metal layer is coated with an anti-corrosion layer. Zn is suitable for the metallising.</p>
