PURPOSE:To obtain a low-noise circuit suitable for a picture element with the constitution simplified, by constituting a shift register as a dynamic scan circuit by making use of the boostrap effect of MOSFET. CONSTITUTION:To respective lines for synchronizing clock pulses H1 and H2, input pulse Hin and earth Vs, MOS transistors T1 to T5 using electrons as signal charges are connected, so as to constitute a scanning pulse generating circuit. In this constitution, inputting synchronizing pulse H2 with point A at a high level increases the potential at point B through MOSFETT1 and the potential at point A increases higher than VD of the pulse amplitude through bootstrap capacity 51 between points A and B, so that transistor T1 will operate in an unsaturated region. At point B, therefore, pulse Q1 of exactly the same waveform as pulse H2 appears. At the same time, transistor T2 conducts to write high-level H at point C and write operation to MOSFETs T3 to T5 ends similarly. |
