Revolving caramel mould with inner eccentric - has locating pins to align eccentric with outer revolving drum

A revolving drum-like pressing mould esp. for the prodn. of caramels comprises two outer half-drums and an inner eccentric. The two half-drums each carry a number of plungers which can be driven into a series of aligned moulds each formed of an outer half-mould on the inner circumference of a ring and a second half-mould on the outer circumference of an eccentric. The two half-moulds are detachably connected together by bolts, a sleeve and an intermediate disc which carries a number of apertures aligned with the plungers. On one half-drum there is a series of pins, equal to the number of plungers; these pins co-operate with a flange on the eccentric wheel so that as the drums revolve the pins successively engage with with seatings at the rim of the eccentric wheel in the region where the rim of the eccentric and the ring come closes together, thus aligning the two halves of the moulds.
