The skylight for a caravan, lifted on swinging arms has its frame made up of hollow bars joined at the end to form a rectangular box as in the main patent. The top part or lid has a frame made from hollow bars (17), supporting the covering pane (18). The pane can be carried by resilient lengthways battens in the frame members pref. in one piece with the frame. The adjusting arms can be fastened to the frame by connections (30-32). This means that two rigid frames made from hollow profiles are used in the whole assembly, providing ready adaptation to verying needs or preferences.
