The mechanism coils separate strips of material in a multiple winding machine with automatic changeover. A guide plate or bush follows the knife on the knife slide and is bought against the core after the knife has swung into position by means of levers. Inclined faces at each slide end position, and a roller-ended lever fixed to the other ones, return it to the starting position. There can be a tension spring pulling the plate or brush into the apex of the intake gap. |
