NEW MATERIAL:An esterification product obtained by esterifying a saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or/and an hydroxydicarboxylic acid with a high-polymer polyol prepared from a tetra-or polyhydric alcohol adduct of ethylene or/and propylene oxides, wherein 0-20 moles of ethylene oxide and 0-100 moles of propylene oxide are added to one mole of the polyhydric alcohol, and the total number of moles added of ethylene and propylene oxides is more than the number of OH groups of the polyol. USE:Oils for cosmetics, gelation, dispersing, solubilization, and moistening agent having improved properties. PROCESS:Succinic acid is esterified with A deka polyether DG-500 (trade name), obtained from diglycerol as a polyhydric alcohol, to give the desired product. |
