PURPOSE:To eliminate a problem of fog at the time of development by constituting the title device so that a toner grain is not subjected to physical crushing to the utmost. CONSTITUTION:At least one electrode plate element 40 is placed at such an interval as a toner can be allowed to pass through enough against the outside peripheral surface of a hollow dielectric roller 38, and also, so that charge can be injected enough to the toner which has been taken in between the electrode plate element 40 and the outside peripheral surface of the hollow dielectric roller 38. The charge toner is attracted to the electric conductor brush element 40 in the hollow dielectric roller and collected to the outside peripheral surface of the hollow dielectric roller 38, by which the charge toner becomes just like forming a toner brush. Such a toner brush moves together with the hollow dielectric roller 38, and by this toner brush, the toner adheres to an electrostatic latent image on a rotary photosensitive drum. In such a way, a problem of fog is eliminated, and also, even at the time of solid recording, the toner can be supplied enough. |
