An anti-skid device comprises a yoke-like body component (1) to be mounted on a vehicle tyre (15) so as to extend across the wear surface of the tyre, an attaching member (2) being provided on one end of said body component and on the other end, a counter-member (3), both disposed to rest against the sides of the tyre.
