<p>This invention relates to a method for the preparation of an antiperspirant deodorant composition in the form of a compressed cylindrical pellet (hereafter referred to as compressed powder stick). In this method a powdered mixture of talc, aluminum chlorhydroxide, magnesium stearate, kaolin, calcium carbonate, rice starch and glycine is compressed between 600 and 3,000 p.s.i. using a hydraulic press. The resulting product exhibits remarkably high "pay-off" characteristics and strength (against breakage).</p> |
