<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the simple liquid crystal display device of excellent display characteristics and a low cost and hardly visually recognizing the change of the transmission light intensity of picture elements by a manufacture error by providing a substrate and the two or more kinds of the picture elements of the different intensities of transmission light dispersedly arranged on the substrate. SOLUTION: This device is provided with division exposure areas (division areas) 1 and 2 adjacent to each other, the boundary (division boundary) 3 of the division exposure areas 1 and 2 and the picture elements A-F respectively provided with the transmission light intensities TA-TF. In this case, the transmission light intensities TA-TF have the relation of TA<TB<TC<TD<TE<TF. Then, at the division boundary 3, the picture elements A-F of the different transmission light intensities are randomly or dispersedly arranged. Also, as for the dispersion, the picture elements provided with the same transmission light intensity are prevented from being adjacent to each other as much as possible and they are arranged so that the irregularities of the transmission light intensites cannot be recognized by the eyes of a human by the arrangement of the picture elements simultaneously.</p> |
