PURPOSE:To manufacture a plastic hose having high pressure resistance and durability, by laminating an inner tube of the hose with two layers of wire reinforcement having an adhesive resin sheet therebetween, and partially melting the adhesive resin by applying an RF field, thereby integrating the reinforcing layers. CONSTITUTION:An inner tube of a hose, obtained by the extrusion molding of a thermoplastic resin such as polyester, polyurethane, etc., is spirally wound with 0.3-0.4 mm high-tension steel wire or braid 4 by a first winder 3 to form the first reinforcing layer 6. An adhesive resin sheet 5 is applied thereto by the use of a conical guide jig 7. A second reinforcing layer 10 is further applied to the surface of the adhesive layer. An RF field is imposed to the laminate by an RF-induction heater 11, and the adhesive resin is molten thus firmly bonding two wire-reinforcing layers. After heating, the hose is covered with a covering resin layer 13. |
