PRODUCTION OF MIXTURE BASED ON CEMENT, META-KAOLIN, GLASS FIBER AND POLYMER

Process for the manufacture of a mixture with a view to making a product by setting cement, in which the following constituents are mixed, the following order of introduction of these constituents into a mixer being obeyed: approximately 35 to approximately 55 parts of water mixed with approximately 3 to approximately 12 parts of polymer, as dry polymer weight; from 0 up to 5 parts of water-reducing adjuvant; approximately 15 to approximately 30 parts of metakaolin; approximately 50 to approximately 120 parts of siliceous sand; and approximately 100 parts of cement. Mixing is then carried out until a homogeneous and thixotropic paste is obtained. Into the said paste is incorporated between 2 and 15 parts by weight of alkali-resistant glass fibres, based on the weight of the said paste.
