Polyester raw fabrics were passed through a pair of friction rollers(1),(2) to give artifiaial ! pills on a fabric surface during a secouring process, dried, preheated for 30-50 sec. at 180-230≦̸C, and passed rapidly through a bath contg. high concentrated alkali and its reaction promoter for 10-20 min. Above treated fabrics were passed though the friction rollers and bath to remove pills.
