A velocity control device for induction motor connected with a simple D.C braking dervice was comprised of a rectifying bridge cct. which was consisted of a pair of SCR and rectiftying elements. for driving ,a parallel cct, consisting of a pair of SCR was conoected reversely with a bridge cct. located between A.C source and motor. for braking, A.C and D.C side taps .of dridge cct. were connected resp. with taps of A.C source and motor.
