NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (formula II is acyl of fatty acid). EXAMPLE:1-Palmitoyl-2-(4-methoxycinnamoyl)-3-glycerophosphorylcholine. USE:An ultraviolet ray absorber for cosmetics, etc., excellent in feeling of use and having also safety for the skin. PREPARATION:Phosphatidyl choline is initially dissolved in a solvent, such as diethyl ether, and the resultant solution is then enzymically treated with phospholipase A2. Lysophosphatidyl choline is subsequently fractionated from the above-mentioned solution and dissolved in a solvent, such as chloroform, and 4-methoxycinnamic acid, 4-dimethylaminopyridine and N,N'- dicyclohexylcarbodiimide are added to the afore-mentioned solution to carry out esterification reaction. |
