PURPOSE:To make the introduction of smoke to smoke detecting part smooth and improve the responsiveness of smoke detection operation by combining plural sheets of partition plates, a conical guide, etc. and disposing these in the space part on the lower side of the smoke detecting part. CONSTITUTION:A space part 4 which is enclosed by a waveform labyrinth 3 and communicates with smoke lead-in paths 5,5 is provided below the smoke detecting part 2 disposed in the main body 1 of the detector. Within this space part 4 are installed plural sheets of partition plates 6 parting the space radially as well as a conical guide 8 having a hole 9 communicating with the space part 4 through the radial installation center 7. Part of the smoke produced by a fire passes through the waveform labyrinth 3 from its side, is bent upward by the partition plates 6 like the arrows X, and reaches the smoke detecting part 2. The other part flows from the lower part toward the hole 9 along the recessed face of the conical guide 8, is collected like the arrow Y and arrives at the smoke detecting part 2 through the hole 9 and radial center 7 and therefore the smoke detecting part 2 is capable of detecting the smoke with good responsiveness. |
