PURPOSE:To ensure to inform the mode selection to the operator, by flickering the display unit for functional operation display at mode selection, in the cash register providing ON-line functions and OFF-line functions. CONSTITUTION:The mode selection switch 8 of the operation section 2 is at ON- line mode TRM and the ON-line flag memory is set to 1, then a signal is given to the ON-line lamp illumination signal generation circuit to illuminate the ON-line display lamp 22. When the switch 8 is at OFF-line NORM and the flag memory is set to 0, the OFF-line display lamp 23 is illuminated with the illumination signal generation circuit 25. When the flag memory is 1, and when the switch 8 is selected from TRM to NORM, the flag memory changes from 1 to 0, illuminating the lamp 23 with the flicker signal generation circuit 26 and the oscillator 27. When the switch 8 is selected from NORM to TRM with the flag memory 0, the flag memory is 1 and the lamp 22 is flickered. When the lamps 22 and 23 flicker, the alarm is made and the corresponding mode is printed out. |
