PURPOSE:To obtain a panel which has little shift in gap between X and Y electrodes and excellent chracteristics, by providing X-directional electrodes and Y-directional electrodes onto a single substrate sequentially. CONSTITUTION:On single glass substrate 1, glass print part 2 is provided and X-directional electrodes 3 are provided into the gap between the both. Covering print parts 2 and electrodes 3, Al2O3 dielectric layer 4 and MgO protective layer 5 are stacked in sepuence. The depressions on layer 5 are filled with polyimide as flattening filler 6 and MgO protective layer 8 and Al2O3 dielectric layer 9 are further stacked. On it, Y-directional electrodes 10 are provided in the direction perpendicular to that of X-directional electrodes 3. Then, MgO protective layer 11 is stacked on it. As a result, X-directional electrodes and Y-directional electrodes are provided sequentially onto a single substrate and a shift in gap between both electrodes can nearly be eliminated, so that the gap shift can be avoided which can not be done only by a spacer. |
