PURPOSE:To prevent a current control transistor from breaking down by connecting constant-voltage elements in parallel to individual current control transistors. CONSTITUTION:With high-tension direct-current power supply 1 ON, discharge starts between anode 3 and cathode 4 of laser tube 2 and the same time, a high voltage due to a transient phenomenon is almost developed between collectors and emitters of current control transistors 9 to 11, but will not exceed the prescribed voltage of constant-voltage elements being limited by elements 17 to 19. Since con stant-voltage elements are connected in this way, control transistors 9 to 11 will never be broken by a high voltage developed transiently. |
