<p>A support clip is used for overhead cables. The support includes a trapped key (18) ensuring that the suspended cable is maintained in its correct position. The basic support (5) shape is triangular with a partly folded over base (7) and apex (6) with a strengthening rib (9) exrending from the apex towards the base centre. A hole in the strengthening section allows a cylindrical two diameter key (17, 18) to close off the apex upper volume when positioned within it. The key is trapped in the support by a flat sprung metal strip (16) bent into a right angle and an arc allowing it to be manoeuvred through the support.</p> |
