PURPOSE:To supply stable AC energy to the load while protecting the element from break-down due to over-voltage, by providing an input over-voltage detector in AC input circuit. CONSTITUTION:Input voltage detector 59R is provided in AC input circuit of uninterruptible power source equipment. The over-voltage of AC input A is detected by detector 59R to turn off the AC input switch 52R thus to interrupt the AC input. Consequently low voltage detector 27 is functioned to turn on the switch THY and to switch to the battery. When the AC input voltage is recovered from said over- voltage to normal level, the over-voltage detector 59R is disabled to turn on the AC input switch 52R and switched from the battery input to AC input. With such arrangement conventional responce during no-voltage and low-voltage is utilized preferably to realize the protective function against over-voltage with considerably simple structure. |
