PURPOSE:To obtain warm water in a large quantity with high efficiency by heating a part of treating water with an underwater combustion boiler, neutralizing it to pH 7-8 and then mixing it with remaining portion of the treating water. CONSTITUTION:A part of treating water, taken in from a river, a brook or a well through a water supply source 1 is introduced into an underwater combustion boiler to be heated by a burner 4, and it is introduced into a neutralizing tank 8 through a warm water pipe 6 to be neutralized to pH 7-8 with alkali additive supplied from an alkali additive supplying device 9, and then it is introduced into a water reservoir tank 11 to be mixed up with remaining portion of the treating water. Since this method eliminates piping corrosion problem from the underwater combustion boiler, it is possible to produce such a remarkable advantage as to be able to obtain warm water in a large quantity with a simple equipment and much less fuel consumption. |
