The force-transmission part of such a dobby contains, for each heald frame, a pair of hooks (4) arranged in one plane. Each hook (4) is assigned a double-armed lever (2) which is mounted pivotably on rods (1) and of which the pivoting out in one direction is caused by a spring (12), by the hook (4) and by a fixed support (5) and in the opposite direction is limited by a stop (3). Mounted on one arm (200) of the double-armed lever (2) is a pair of horizontal needles (8, 9), of which one needle (9) carries a sensing needle (18) of the new weft and is held by a straightedge (11) of the new weft, whilst the other horizontal needle (8) carries a sensing needle (17) of the old weft and is held by a straightedge (10) of the old weft. The horizontal needles (8, 9) are lifted by an auxiliary straightedge (15). The double-armed levers (2) are blocked in their pivoted-out position by a retaining straightedge (16). As a result of this arrangement, an exchange of the functions on the straightedges (10, 11) is achieved during the return motion of the weaving machine, so that the sequence of movement is reversed relative to the original sequence of movement and consequently no additional rotation of the pulse device in the idling mode is necessary before restarting. <IMAGE> |
