<p>The production of garments, such as shirts, waistcoats, jackets and overcoats, is simplified by cutting to a special pattern involving the minimum of sewing, thus reducing the time required for making up. The one-piece pattern comprises tow fronts, two sides, a back and two extensions to the back which are turned down and joined to the top edge of the front by sewing. This forms the body of the garment using a short seam on each front side, and the collar and sleeves, it required may be added afterwards.</p> |
