<p>The ice cream scoop washing machine comprises a housing with an aperture for inverting the scoop. There is a coiled pipe with holes pointing inwards through which jets of water impinge on the scoop. When the scoop is inverted into the aperture, a sprung lever is displaced. This opens a valve which permits the water to flow in the coil. The used water falls to the bottom of the housing and drains away through an outlet pipe. The machine permits one scoop to be used for dispensing several flavours of ice cream and ensures that it is cleaned thoroughly between each one.</p> |
