<p>PURPOSE:To treat waste water efficiently and economically and make the final precipitation pond needless by partitioning a treatment tank by a partition wall into an aeration zone and a solid-liquid separation zone and providing the latter zone with a filtration portion comprising a perforated water-permeable member. CONSTITUTION:A treatment tank 1 is partitioned by a partition wall into an aeration zone A and a solid-liquid separation zone B. With a treated water such as sewage sludge fed to the aeration zone A from an inflow pipe 7, biological treatment is conducted in the circulating flow of a particle medium so as to remove BOD in the treated water. Then the treated water flows into the zone B, where the SS are filtrated by a filtration portion 4 comprising a perforated water-permeable member such as a filter cloth in the form of a rotary disc, and the clean treated water overflows from the tank 1. The SS caught by the filtration portion 4 are cleaned in the forced water flow in a water flow suction portion 5. Because the waste water containing fine SS at high concentration is treated efficiently, the running cost is reduced and the final precipitation pond is made needless.</p> |
