PURPOSE:To improve the frequency-temperature characteristics by selecting properly the cut-out angle. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic curves in the figure show the results when the frequency-temperature characteristics is obtained logically with variation of the cut-out angle of the crystal oscillator. In case a coincidence is obtained between the normal line direction of the vibrator and the thickness direction of the vibrator and the normal line direction is expressed with the azimuth (phi, theta) to the crystal axis, the characteristic curves a1, a2 and a3 show the temperature characteristics under phi=94 deg. and theta=113 deg. 11' 24'' and phi=95 deg. and theta=113 deg. 9' and phi=96 deg. and theta=113 deg. 9' 36'' respectively. With combination of the azimuth (phi, theta), an excellent result is obtained particularly under phi=94 deg.-96 deg. and theta=112 deg.-114 deg.. |
